BGLTQ

Welcome to the Currier queer corner!  We (Bev and Ayan) are happy to introduce ourselves as your BGLTQ tutors for the coming year.

BGLTQ stands for bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender and queer, but also includes all of our amazing supporters, regardless of how they identify. We are here to support BGLTQ-identified students navigate the important and challenging issues they face: coming out, harassment, family issues, relationships, and more. We also provide support to allies and help to foster an open-minded and supportive community here at Currier.

Basically, if you’re a student at Currier, we want to get to know you!

We have plenty of exciting events planned for the coming year (including but not limited to queer quad brunches, queer film screenings, smoothie study breaks, and much, much more), so stay tuned to this page, the house calendar, or the house mailing lists for more info. If you’d like to receive reminders of upcoming events, or would like to meet with either of us for any reason, please feel free to email us at ayan.chatter@gmail.com (Ayan) or beverlieting@gmail.com (Bev). We keep all contact information and correspondence in strict confidence.

Harvard is a diverse place, and Currier is no exception: our tutorial staff, administrative staff and student body represent a wide range of sexual orientations, gender identities, cultures, nationalities, religious beliefs, political views, and anything else you could think of. We hope that you’ll join us in celebrating diversity in all of its manifestations this coming year!
